Hand done Batik on pure silk

The motifs on this fabric have been hand drawn with wax onto 7 meters of pure silk. I created this fabric for my HND final collection at the Academy of Design.

Torque: Collection for Art walk 2010.

This collection was inspired by Biker communities and Classic bikes. The collection was thereby constructed by distressing and taking apart Denim shorts and jeans. 

2nd Year Project at AOD, Painted drape dress

The dress was draped and hand sewn on the stand,seams have been machined and the fabric ( Crepe Chiffon) then hand painted in silk paint.
