60's Winter Jacket Toile

Before the final garment is created we are first trained to sew up a trial version, which is called a ''toile'' in fashion terms. in order that we may decide upon or alter size, fit and design details.
This is my toile for the 60's jacket, and i am pretty pleased it's a pretty good toile!!






Above is an inseam pocket, this is the first time I've done one of these and i must say though I found it challenging it was supper rewarding to see it finished!

Jeans project: college

The project was to research the various brand identities of denim jeans and then branch out into designer wear selecting a free standing jeans brand or other in preparation for design.

My brand was replay and my primary research was based on the military utilization of the denim jean.
