A dream!
when I was younger , which was not SO longer considering how I am still young, I used to dream of big shows with lights and colour, feathers and ample yards of fabric, beads and pearls, all the pretty ladies to carry it off and of course myself at the very centre of it all!! it is quite amusing how some dreams have a propensity to become real, which is why I suppose we are sometimes told to be careful of what we wish for!.
growing up one could say I have been rather ambitious, hopping from the prospects of being a scientist to a gynaecologist to a performing artist to a million other professions I can feign recall to a human rights activist and lawyer; counsel more appropriately as I have learnt and finally realising the existence of a gift, a designer.
the realisation of a dream, leads to the realisation of the challenges that lie ahead. nevertheless my eyes have subsequently been opened to the infinite possibilities in the fashion industry.
from being an illustrator to an editor, to a photographer, to a stylist , creative director, make up and hair artist, etc.... etc.... I thus believe that the education one receives would influence the thought processes and creativity of the student. therefore studying at the academy of design has in many ways opened my mind to a broader horizon of possibilities, a fuller comprehension of the very term; FASHION and a bout of ideas!
I have dreamt many dreams, learnt that one is no less capable of victory and am now on my way toward fulfilment!
